Beginning in the fall of 2011, Dan Wilton will be host for a monthly series of online sessions for the Canadian Institute of Distance Education Research at Athabasca University. These CIDER Sessions feature leading researchers from across Canada presenting the latest findings in online learning and technology.

Wilton+Wark has completed a package of promotional materials, including posters, brochures, and a website for an important new project directed by the Treaty 8 Tribal Association to record and support the living languages of First Nations communities in northeastern BC.

WILTON+WARK JOINS KEEPERS OF THE WATER WORKING GROUP

Norine Wark and Dan Wilton have joined the Keepers of the Water working group to help strengthen and guide this umbrella organization for Keepers groups around the Arctic Ocean Basin. Working alongside First Nations and environmental leaders, the group will clarify and promote Keepers resolutions and goals at a critical moment in the Keepers' evolution, as they prepare for the Keepers of the Water VI Watershed Gathering in 2012.

Congratulations to the Keepers of the Water Saskatchewan and the Hatchet Lake Denesuline First Nation on the opening of their Watershed Gathering, Keepers of the Water IV.
Once again this year, we were proud to develop the Gathering's full media package, from posters and registration forms to the final conference program. Together, we're working to protect the Sacred Gift of Water.
